About Us
ELIN KNITWEAR journey started in 2019 when I was looking for a colorful chunky cardigan and because I couldn't find one to like, I knitted it myself. Then I realized that I really love knitting, feeling happy and excited about new designs and yarns combination.
It was actually a comeback to knitting, after learning the skills as a child, from my Mom, who is also a knitter here. Spending holidays in the countryside, I remember my dear grandmas and my mother knitting jumpers, socks, scarves and hats, so we were dressed head to toe in knits made by them. I am happy to continue these traditions, sustainable and authentic, in these times when not many things are made by hand.
